Status Update #9 : 2020 Progress


Oh hello guys happy new year today i wanna talk about future stuff about the game, let's dive in.

Big Stuff

So as of right now i am splitting certain functions off scripts into there own(like the Item System(once part of the GameController) and Stamina Script(Once part of the Player Script) and some small stuff) this is to port some features before one another like the random mode lets get into that

Modes

So Aside the Main Mode, I have plans for the following game modes :

Random Mode(with a random level generator)

Hard Mode(The game is 2x Harder than normal)

Easy Mode(The game is 2x Easier than normal)

Field mode(Collect some books on a giant plain that's the point)

Room-By-Room Mode(No halls, Only rooms)

True maze mode(This mode is basically a maze... literally)

Rooms themselves

There will be 2 new room types being

Wide room(A wide room with nothing but a book or item inside)

Hall-room(A room as wide as a hall) (Note : Might be random mode only)

Misc.

There will be 2 versions with different compilers.

1. il2cpp

2. Mono

I also plan minigames but those might make in by a 50/50 chance, who knows? maybe they will be added in update, well see...
